In the mid 2002 Rob Van Dam had started a feud with Triple H, who was the then World Heavyweight Champion. Triple H’s meddling had cost Van Dam to lose his Intercontinental Championship to Chris Jericho, this further escalated to van dam getting a world heavy weight Championship opportunity at Unforgiven 2002 but ended on the losing side. Rob Van Dam and Triple H further crossed each other’s paths many times with RVD ending on the losing side each time.

The WWE Universe has periodically stated that RVD Never got the Big Push during his time in WWE. In the Past, RVD has stated that he was never Comfortable with WWE during his tenure.

Now, in a recent Podcast with Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling, Rob Van Dam has declared his frustrations of working with “The Game”.

On working with the Current Executive Vice President of the company Van Dam said,

“I remember being very humbled. I think the fact, I’m winning, I’m winning, Triple H comes out, hits me with a Pedigree just over and over and over. How many times do we have to tell this story that I can’t beat this guy no matter what?”.

“I wasn’t happy about the situation at the time. You look at it more like, ‘It’s not fair, just cause [Triple H is] with the boss’ daughter,’ you know, and really there’s so many more variables to it that you just don’t consider.”

Nevertheless, Van Dam also credited “The cerebral assassin” for his in-ring pursuits.

“But looking back, I had great matches with him. He’s a really good wrestler. At the time, I don’t even think I could have admitted that just because I felt more like puffing my chest out and trying to fight for every inch I could get”.

Rob Van Dam was criminally underrated and had the most off beat athleticism with tons of charisma, during his tenure in WWE. The Hall of famer has announced that he would make his in-ring debut in CyberFight’s Pro Wrestling Noah on June 12.
