Rob Van Dam is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling at the age of 52. A couple of years prior to that, WWE inducted him into the Hall of Fame. As a result, RVD received a ring to signify his place on the prestigious list. Recently, Rob Van Dam revealed that he lost the Hall of Fame ring.
While speaking with Chris Van Vliet, he detailed the entire story behind the bizarre situation. First, RVD stated that it took place during the same week as the ceremony. Furthermore, the ECW legend claimed that he lost it while working a show in Wisconsin, as he wasn’t used to wearing the ring. As a result, he left it in a hotel room in Las Vegas, which prompted the staff to call him.
“Thank you, Ben McCoy, for calling me and saying, ‘Did you forget something, dude’, and I didn’t even know yet. I just got home the next day, and wow, I had it for, I don’t know. I think it was the same week, so I didn’t have it very long, and I lost it already,” added Rob Van Dam. Evidently, the 52-year-old doesn’t remember the exact instance of losing the HOF ring.
RVD surprised fans when he appeared in AEW in August. Moreover, he has since wrestled a few matches for the promotion. In the veteran’s most recent bout, he teamed with Hook, Taz’s son, to defeat the pair of Angelo Parker and Matt Menard on Saturday’s Collision. Interestingly, Rob Van Dam feuded with Taz during the early ECW days.

Rob Van Dam claims he’s always been a fan of Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar is one of the most dominant athletes in combat sports history. He has achieved almost everything both in the UFC and the WWE. During an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam was full of praise for The Beast Incarnate.
According to RVD, Brock Lesnar has proved his worth as one of the best throughout his career. Hence, he has always been a fan of the former Universal Champion. Rob Van Dam continued to claim that there was nothing else for Lesnar to legitimize when he won the UFC World Championship.
The 52-year-old opined, “When he was UFC World Champion, that was, like, there’s nothing else that would legitimize. If you want to go that far, What we do doesn’t get enough respect. Because every fan thinks they can do it. And that seems to be more and more what they’re after.” (h/t: InsideTheRopes). Needless to say, it is hard to argue against Rob Van Dam’s statement, as many would agree that Brock Lesnar is an all-time great.
