Roger Federer is the ultimate GOAT when it comes to Tennis. The 20-time Grand Slam Champion announced his retirement from the sport at the age of 41. Federer tweeted the announcement on the micro-blogging website to send shockwaves to the entire sporting community.

Though, Federer will be playing the Laver Cup which is scheduled for next week. The Ace Tennis player has around 6 Australian Open titles, 8 Wimbledon, 5 US Open and a French Open Title as well. He has been accredited as one of the best players of modern tennis.

Former Tennis players reveal Roger Federer’s love for WWE

Roger Federer has been a huge admirer of WWE Superstars like John Cena, Randy Orton and Hulk Hogan.

Federer in a letter shared on Twitter said that he has played over 1500 matches in the course of his 24 year career and he thinks it’s the best time for him to hang up his boots. Though Federer is a grand slam champion in Tennis, the former has always expressed his love for WWE.

Tennis player Jon Isner had once revealed about Federer that he was in continuous touch with the global juggernaut i.e. WWE. He said that Roger Federer loved WWE and even kept tabs on ongoing storylines, would stream matches on WWE Network and even shared that while passing through Locker rooms he would imitate John Cena‘s “You Can’t See Me” and Randy Orton’s “Viper” gesture to face off his friends.

This clearly reveals how much Federer admires WWE. Not only this but David Law who is a former ATP Communications Manager had once revealed that before becoming the cool and composed Federer that he is today, Roger Federer was a “crybaby”.

Law revealed that Federer had so much energy with him that it was difficult to channelize it. He also revealed that Federer used to imitate WWE/WWF superstars, especially Hulk Hogan while having a shower and would shout their catchphrases to show his excitement.

However Law said that later on with time and experience Federer learnt to become more calm, composed and matured. With now Roger Federer finally taking his time off the court he can focus on the squared circle and it’s happenings more often now.
