“It’s just sunshine and lollipops”- Ronda Rousey discusses the atmosphere of the women’s locker room

Ronda Rousey is one of the most athletic wrestlers of this generation. Ronda has been enjoying her time in WWE and has become one of the Main stream wrestlers in a short span of time. Ronda rousey’s debut at WrestleMania 34 impressed many and since then she has been earning rave reviews for her performances and involvement in the Storylines.
Since Ronda Rousey’s debut she has attracted a lot of crowd towards women’s wrestling and hence raised the popularity of Women’s bouts. Ronda Rousey was on hiatus due to her pregnancy, she came back at royal rumble 2022 and won the women’s royal rumble match. Rousey failed to win against Flair at WrestleMania 38 but then defeated her at WrestleMania Backlash to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Ronda Rousey’s time in the UFC has also been lauded, she is respected and admired for her contribution to Women’s UFC. She is the first woman to get signed on the promotion and became the first female to hold the UFC Championship. Many people believe that Ronda Rousey has paved the way for women in UFC and is a big influence for women UFC Fighters.
Recently Ronda appeared on “The Kurt Angle Show”, where she talked on variety of topics, one of them being the atmosphere of the women’s locker room. Ronda was asked about what was it like to be in a locker room, which is often contentious.
Ronda replied,
It was kind of funny, I was talking to Heyman once cause whenever drama would go down in the locker room, I wouldn’t be in there,” Ronda Rousey said. “The second I stepped out something would happen and you know, if one of the girls was being unfair, I would step in and I would be like, ‘What’s going on?’ I heard about things happening when I stepped out, I’m like, ‘Why is this happening when I was in there? I would have said something
Rousey said that Paul Heyman told her that she is unknown to the women wrestlers and no one would create a scene when she exists in the locker room, to which Ronda replied that all is well in the locker room and everyone enjoys their time in it.
Heyman was telling me if there was like a pitbull in the room and you don’t know about this dog. You don’t know this dog and it could probably kill you, you’re not going to do anything crazy while the pitbull is in the room,” Ronda Rousey explained. “You’re going to wait until the pitbull leaves the room and then you get crazy. So as far as I know, it’s just sunshine and lollipops in the locker room. It’s a bunch of cupcakes and handj**s. everyone’s having a great time.”
Ronda Rousey is also known to give credibility to her opponents. Ronda Rousey is slated to defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank live event against Natalya. The WWE Universe speculates that she will definitely win the bout.
