Ronda Rousey has her thoughts over the actual nature of professional wrestling

The Baddest woman on the planet ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey is the current Smackdown Women’s Champion in her 1st reign which she won after defeating Charlotte Flair in a brutal slugfest at this year’s Wrestlemania Backlash premium-live-event back in May. Rousey is one of the most decorated female athlete in the world of combat sports. Before joining WWE, she dominated the UFC women’s division holding a 12-2-0 record for her UFC bouts.

Rousey recently appeared on The Kurt Angle Show where she talked about various topics including her transition from Mixed-Martial arts to being a pro- wrestler. She also insisted that the pre-determined nature of professional wrestling is a really helpful aspect of this business which takes off a lot of pressure from the performer.

Ronda continued on speaking to the lame comments of pro-wrestling often called “Fake” at times by some casual fans and viewers alike by saying that “There’s no fake way to go through a table”. Rousey continued, “or ‘This injury is real.’ And I’m like, ‘You guys, it’s not like the physical toll that makes something real.’”

Further she talked about the injuries that happen in UFC as well as in pro-wrestling when you put your body on the line but in a slightly different environment as both MMA and Professional Wrestling are of different motives.

“The injuries don’t enter into your mind,” Rousey said of her time in MMA. “It’s the anxiety and uncertainty of the result,” that makes the situation real, as opposed to the predetermined outcome of a pro-wrestling match.”

She is the same women who herself had made some controversial remarks in the past by calling out WWE ‘Fake’ but it seems like she’s eventually been moulded up in the heat of this industry now and is grown herself as an good perfomer.

Before returning to WWE earlier this year at the Royal Rumble, Ronda Rousey gave birth to her 1st child nearly 4 months ago the date of her WWE return. She main-evented Wrestlemania 35 along with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in a winner takes all match the ending of which saw Becky pinning her via rollup to take the Raw Women’s Title from Rousey eventually leading to Becky becoming the Raw as well as Smackdown Women’s Champion.

Ronda Rousey went to prolonged hiatus following this match from WWE inorder to focus on her family although stating that she will definitely return to WWE in future at some point.
