Ronda Rousey recently got interviewed by Daniel Cormier
Ronda Rousey is namely the Baddest Woman on the planet and arguably so that’s absolute right to call. Rousey has been an epitome of Mixed Martial Arts throughout her career. She started practising Judo at a young age of 11 years alongside her mother. At 17, she became the youngest Judoka in history to participate at the Summer Olympics held in 2004 at Athens. She obviously was defeated in her first match at the event but she didn’t lose her heart and kept fighting through her weaknesses and worked to overcome upon the shortcomings. At the next Summer Olympics held at Beijing in 2008, Rousey won a Bronze medal for her country through a round of repeachage.
Rousey is a former UFC Bantamweight Champion and her record calls for an incredible 12-2-0 with only two losses in her entire career. After suffering consecutive losses against Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes in 2016 she decided to switch towards being a professional wrestler and in that pursuit Rousey joined WWE in 2018. Today, she is one of the most successful woman on the WWE roster.
Rousey recently got interviewed by another former UFC Champion Daniel Cormier on his YouTube show The DC Check-in where she spoke on various topics including her exit from Judo and MMA and the transition to professional wrestling after that. She also opined on how becoming a mother had affected her life. Here’s exactly what the Former Bantamweight Champion had to say,
“I think it was difficult in both judo and MMA. In that everyone else felt that they wanted more from me.” She also recalled of the time when she won a Bronze in Judo at Summer Olympics in 2008 and don’t wanting to continue that anymore,
“In judo, you peak in your mid-twenties. I medaled at 21. So I’m going to be 25 for the next Olympics. Everyones like oh, this is it, you’re going to be the first to win an Olympic gold and I didn’t want it anymore. I couldn’t do it for everybody else. I think that’s a mistake that I made with MMA.”

Rousey defended her Smackdown Women’s Championship against Natalya this past Saturday night at Money in the Bank premium live event. Rousey didn’t face much difficulties in overcoming her challenger and retained her title too but what happened after that match was totally unexpected.
Liv Morgan who won the Women’s Money in the Bank contract earlier that night came out with the briefcase in hand and soon after decided to cash-in that very moment over Ronda Rousey. As soon as the bell rung, Morgan got caught into the Ankle Lock hold by Rousey but soon got reversed by Morgan kicking her bad leg and quickly rolling her up to become the new Smackdown Women’s Champion.
