22-year-old female star breaks silence after WWE claims she has “anger issues”

Roxanne Perez is regarded as one of NXT’s top stars. Recently, she has been involved in a rivalry with fellow NXT superstar Arianna Grace. Although she won the match, she lost her cool and that cost her big time.

The two superstars had a singles match on New Year’s Evil edition of NXT. Arianna as usual insulted and disrespected Perez, but unfortunately, that didn’t work out this time. Perez hit the Pop Rox and picked up the victory. However, she lost complete control over herself and continued to ambush Grace. Enraged by her attack even after being told to stop, the referee overturned his decision and declared Grace as the winner.

After the match concluded, WWE posted a video on YouTube, stating that Perez lost the match due to her ‘Anger issues.’ The 22-year-old star was quick to reprimand WWE and call them out on the ‘Anger issues’ comment. This major outburst could mean that Perez could join the dark side soon.

The 22-year-old has been in contact with several top stars like CM Punk. As such, she was captured working out with him and Cora Jade. She was also reported to be training with the Big WWE signing Jade Cargill. It will be interesting to see where this new heel turn takes Roxanne Perez.

Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade have had an intense history. They were the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions at one point in time. However, they became rivals and had a few fantastic matches in NXT.

In an interview on SportsKeeda WrestleBinge, Perez shared her opinion about her relationship with Jade. The 22-year-old star revealed she would like to have a match with Jade many times. She hoped they both could headline WrestleMania together. 

I would love to wrestle Cora Jade for years and years. One day, I truly feel we are going to be headlining WrestleMania. So, yeah, we are the future, and this is why everybody should be watching NXT because we are the stars of tomorrow.

As of now, they both are following their own story. While Perez lost her control and attacked Arianna Grace after the match, Cora has set her eyes on the NXT Women’s Championship. It will be interesting to see whether their paths cross one day or not.
