Sami Zayn is one of the most important superstars in the WWE. He has elevated his career in the last year. Nobody could’ve believed this was the same Sami who was fighting Johnny Knoxville at WrestleMania 38. However, that time has gone by, and now Sami is a certified main event player. 

Zayn is a humble superstar. One of the best examples the fans saw was at the live event a few days ago, when he fought Finn Balor in a Last Man Standing match. The 39-year-old won the match, as a fan caught a wholesome moment during the event. When Sami Zayn was attacking Balor with the kendo sticks, one stick bounced outside of the ring.

Weirdly, that kendo stick flew into the crowd, and a lucky fan caught it. At first, the security guard took the stick away from him. However, the crowd was not happy with that decision and decided to boo the guard. That ultimately caught Zayn’s attention. He got out of the ring and gave that kendo stick back to the fan as a souvenir.

Zayn suffered a kayfabe injury when he was attacked by Drew Mcintyre a few weeks ago on Raw. Although he was going to take some time off, he wrestled in the recent house shows on the holiday tour. Fans are excited to see him back in the ring and get back in the main event picture soon.

Sami Zayn revealed the WWE live event was more special than the Elimination Chamber PLE

Sami Zayn has had many special moments in his career. From winning the tag team title with Kevin Owens to fighting Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber in front of his home crowd. However, Sami chose the recent Live event as the most special moment for him.

Sami and Owens beat Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio a few days ago at the live event. After the match, Zayn addressed the WWE Universe about why this was a really special moment for him. He revealed that his son saw him wrestle for the first time, sitting at the ringside with his wife.

But tonight is even more special, I’m a little bit of a private person. Some of you might not know this, but I have a little boy. And he’s this cutie patootie right here in the red shirt. When I’m at home, I’m not a WWE Superstar, I’m not Sami Zayn, I’m just Baba. And this young man right here has never seen me wrestle. He knows nothing about what I do. Tonight is the first time ever that he sees me in this ring.

Sami married his wife, Khadijah Sebei, in 2018 and has a son with her. He likes to keep his personal life private. Interestingly, his wife was even present when he fought Roman at the Elimination Chamber PLE. 

He has been off TV for quite some time now, and fans are eagerly waiting for his comeback. The WWE Universe took a sigh of relief when they learned that he had suffered just a kayfabe injury. They can expect him to make a return at the Day 1 edition of Raw.
