Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn were recently involved in a feud on Smackdown
After McIntyre finished up his due business with Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss at this year’s Wrestlemania, fans were hoping to see him back into the world title picture once again. Although this didn’t happened immediately, but WWE decided not to pull off their triggers real soon as they gave him a new target In the form of Sami Zayn.

WWE booked Sami Zayn in a singles match on 3 different occasions against McIntyre on several recent Smackdown episodes, but there wasn’t a single time a clear decisive result came out. Taking all of this into consideration, WWE official Adam Pearce announced a steel-cage match between them for this past week’s Smackdown so that there’s no way for Sami to escape this time. McIntyre won that match via pinfall. With this win, their short-term rivalry was seemingly over. On the same night, McIntyre got himself into a new feud against The Bloodline.
During the contract signing of their scheduled Tag Team Title Unification match at Backlash, The Usos started attacking Orton and Riddle which also led the Undisputed WWE Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns to join the fray and then finally the Scottish Warrior came into the rescue of the Raw Tag Team Champions, RK-Bro.
