Lumberjack match result
Sami Zayn came face to face against Drew McIntyre for a lumberjack match on the April 22nd episode of WWE SmackDown. The match, however, resulted in to a no-contest as Sami Zayn was able to sneak past everyone’s eyes who were defending around the ring and quickly mixed up in the audience crowd.
When it comes to a lumberjack match, it all ends up in brawls and chaos. No lumberjack match is complete without external interferences, fight between the lumberjacks itself, and ending up to the result of an epic matchup. But this match, however, didn’t match the expectations as it ended up failing to bring any result.
Sami Zayn tweeted a picture of him amongst the crowd while Drew was standing alone in the ring at the end of the match and stated: “I’ve got him right where I want him.” Moments later, his old rival and WrestleMania opponent, replied to his tweet: “Yeah 75 feet away”
It was a funny comment chain among the two rivals, and it seems Johnny Knoxville is not done with Sami Zayn yet and wants more out of their bout. However, we have to wait and watch if this tweet brings any significance to the dimension of their rivalry.
Kevin Owens reacts to Sami Zayn’s WrestleMania Match
Kevin Owens recently appeared on the After the Bell event, where he stated that he enjoyed every bit of Sami Zayn vs Johnny Knoxville match at WrestleMania 38. He believes Sami Zayn has put incredible efforts and gestures to compete in that match.
“It was unbelievable. This is going to sound really corny but when Wee-Man came out from under the ring and started beating the s**t out of Sami, I got emotional at the reaction. It was so good, people were so happy, and I know how hard he worked for all of it. He had to fight to get it on the show and then he had to fight to make it good. Johnny Knoxville is amazing, Wee-Man, all those guys were incredible, but they’re not wrestlers. He worked so hard to make that happen.” He added.
