Saraya Gets Medically Cleared for In-Ring Competition, Interesting Details and Future Plans Revealed

Saraya (formerly known as Paige) recently returned to the squared circle but this time at AEW, her former company’s biggest rival at this time. The shocking debut took everyone by surprise as no one saw it coming.
Though there were continuous speculations around her role in the company as she was still not medically cleared to compete in the ring. But, the former Divas Champion got the wrestling world talking again when she got involved in a physical segment at AEW Dynamite’s latest episode.

Saraya Has Gotten Medical Clearance from AEW Doctor as she engaged in a physical segment on Dynamite: Reports
Though she took no major bumps and just put a kick here and there, it was enough to raise questions about her medical status. It is now being reported that Saraya has now been declared medically fit to compete in the ring by AEW’s Doctor.
While speaking on the Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez said- “Clearly, Saraya has been cleared because she’s in there brawling. Yeah, so wiped everybody out, they stood tall and that was the end of the segment.”
Saraya (formerly known as Paige in WWE) had suffered a career threatening injury back in 2017, following which she was forced to announce retirement from In-ring action. She was then seen in various managerial roles such as the SmackDown General Manager and managed a couple of superstars as well.
She left the company in July when her contract expired and is now back to the squared circle in AEW. Though, there have been no official plans revealed for her as of now it is most likely that she’ll be starting a feud with Dr. Britt Baker.
But Baker believes that the former WWE star won’t be competing in AEW as she is not medically cleared. In a backstage interview following Dynamite Baker said that AEW is her house and Saraya wouldn’t be able to compete as of now because she has not been medically cleared to compete in the ring.
Well, it is likely that Baker is starting to lay a foundation with her comments on her and it is possible that the former WWE star would be addressing these questions herself in the coming days. But if Saraya has been cleared then it’s great news for her fans as the former WWE Diva would be wrestling again after a span of almost 5 years.
