Pro wrestling fans have been delighted since the return of Saraya in the AEW. She has been medically cleared to wrestle again, and on the October 5th edition of AEW Dynamite, she confronted Dr. Britt Baker and the two were involved in a physical altercation. This was the first time that Saraya was involved in a physical fight since 2017. This has been a blessing for the Former WWE Divas Champion as she wasn’t expected to wrestle again after a neck injury at a live show in December 2017.

Saraya is regarded as one of the finest wrestlers of this generation and was a prominent figure of the women’s revolution in the WWE. She was the one who was instrumental in advancing women’s wrestling, during the women’s revolution and, through her efforts, transformed the public’s perception of women’s wrestling.

Saraya has been a one-time WWE NXT Champion and a two-time WWE Divas Champion. She could have achieved a lot in the company, but her injury stalled her career. Following her injury, she worked behind the scenes as the SmackDown GM and then as a contributor on the show WWE Backstage.

Saraya was released from the WWE in July of this year and has now answered the question of why she didn’t consider her in-ring return to the WWE. She stated on her Twitch Channel that she never discussed her in-ring return to WWE because she was suffering from a mental block at the time and was focusing on becoming healthier and stronger.

“We never had that discussion. I never had that discussion with WWE because they let me go. I’ve been working years to better myself and be healthier and stronger. Me, mentally, I never brought it up because I had this mental block. I want to be as safe as possible. I know what my body can do. Me and WWE never had that discussion about having a match.”

Saraya has now begun a feud with Dr. Britt Baker, and now that she has been cleared to wrestle, we may see her as an AEW Women’s World Champion in the future.
