“I’m appalled and offended!”- WWE Hall of Famer gives his take on Sasha Banks’ fee at signing events

Sasha Banks in WWE

Sasha Banks is one of the most athletic female wrestlers in WWE. Though it has been said that Sasha Banks is now no longer a part of WWE, it has been said that the WWE management is keen on getting both Naomi and Sasha Banks back to WWE, since Vince McMahon’s retirement from the company. Both women had walked out of the building in May on an edition of RAW due to some creative issues with the former WWE CEO and Chairman.

Sasha Banks was signed to WWE in 2012 and made her debut on NXT Brand. Banks’ first match was against Paige in December 2012, which she lost. She won her first match in WWE against Alicia Fox on NXT in January 2013. Sasha Banks even competed in the NXT Women’s Championship tournament in 2013, but lost to Summer Rae in the first round. Sasha won the title after two years in February 2015 at NXT TakeOver: Rival by defeating the then champion Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Bayley in a Fatal Four-way match.

Sasha was involved in a feud with her then Tag Team Partner Bayley after the latter turned on Sasha after they lost the Tag Titles at Payback 2020. The Boss then Challenged Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at the Hell in a Cell, which “The Role Model accepted”. At the event, Both Women utilized several weapons during the match, including chairs, kendo sticks, a table, and a ladder.

Sasha slammed Bayley on the ladder by performing a belly-to-belly suplex and attempted to pin but Bayley kicked out. Thereafter, Bayley performed the Bayley-to Belly on sasha and went for a nearfall.  Towards the end of the match, Sasha compelled Bayley to surrender by placing her head on a steel chair and applying the Bank Statement on her while stomping on the chair.

During a recent interview with Sportskeeda’s “The Wrestling Outlaws”, Road Dogg discussed about Sasha Banks’ fee at the autograph signing events. Road Dogg said that Thirty grand for an hour or two is the craziest thing he has ever seen in his life and jokingly said that he is appalled and offended. Road Dogg said that there are promoters who would give Sasha Banks thirty grand for two to four hours and its good for her if she gets that amount of money.

“It’s the craziest thing I’ve ever seen in my life, I look around and just go, ‘What?!’ Vince, you would make a ton of money doing this. It’s gonna go by the wayside, like inflation, it’s cyclical, but right now it’s hot as fire, man. Thirty grand? I’m appalled and offended! But there are people that will give it to her for two hours, for four hours, whatever, to sign collectibles and do all that stuff, and good for her if she can get it.”

Sasha Banks is one of the most popular female Superstars of this generation and her fees definitely is an example of her popularity.
