Sasha Banks have reportedly been released from WWE after weeks of endless speculation
Sasha Banks and Naomi was one of the hottest topics of conversation a few days back after the women allegedly walked out on WWE a few weeks back during an episode of Monday Night Raw. The situation quickly made the rounds as WWE also released a public statement regarding the two women about the same stating ‘unprofessional behavior’ in their context.
Since then there have been multiple speculations regarding the immediate future of both women as some began talking that both could be released from WWE due to their so-called unprofessionalism while some believed that they might comeback after their indefinite suspension is done.
Several reports stated that WWE management was highly upset over Sasha Banks in particular as they were of the belief that Banks initiated the walk-out and also influenced Naomi with herself. Due to these things adding up her release couldn’t be ruled out a few days ago.
But finally the hammer has been reportedly blown over Banks as Raj Giri of Wrestlinginc.com is reporting that Sasha Banks has been released from WWE although he didn’t knew whether whose call it was to part ways, was it from WWE’s side or did Sasha Banks herself requested her release from the company? This thing is yet to be clarified.
WWE is yet to release an official statement over this but the thing looks legit as things were definitely not going on the greener path for Banks in the last few days. Meanwhile Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com has also added to Raj Giri’s report stating that when he spoke to WWE this evening, they said they didn’t heard about this and talent relations doesn’t seem to know. Sasha Banks was one among the four horsewoman in WWE alongside Bayley, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. She is former NXT Women’s Champion, a 5-time Raw Women’s Champion, 1-time Smackdown Women’s Champion plus she had won the Women’s Tag Team titles thrice during her main roster run.
Banks became one of the two black women alongside Bianca Belair to receive the honour for main- eventing a night of Wrestlemania when she defended her Smackdown Women’s Championship against Belair at night 1 of Wrestlemania 38.
Sasha Banks and Bayley were the 1st ever Women’s Tag Team Champions plus she was also involved in a historic triple-threat match which took place at Wrestlemania 32 to retard the Divas Championship and to introduce the WWE Women’s Championship to the WWE Universe. This was the 1st major step towards the women’s evolution in WWE.
