Sasha Banks is one of the most athletic WWE Wrestlers of the current generation.Sasha’s fanbase and popularity is said to be larger than any other female WWE wrestler in current lot. Sasha has been the most tweeted female athlete in 2021. Sasha was also nominated as Favorite female sports star at the 2022 Nickelodeon Kids choice awards along with  Chloe Kim, Simone Biles, Serena Williams, Candace Parker, Naomi Osaka. Chloe Kim won this award but Sasha Banks was the only female wrestler to be nominated in this category.

Sasha Banks has been praised by the WWE Universe for her in-ring abilities and athleticism. Banks’ agility, flexibility and her in-ring positioning has been lauded by many wrestling pundits. Banks has been a 5-time RAW Women’s Champion, 1-time SmackDown Women’s Champion and 1-time NXT Women’s Champion during her time in WWE. In addition to this she has been a 3-time WWE Women’s tag team champion (2 with Bayley and 1 with Naomi).

Recently, Sasha Banks disclosed on instagram that she was undergoing a PRK eye surgery, In an post shared on instagram by Banks, In the video banks is about to go for surgery and uses her real name Mercedes Varnado and stated that she needs eye surgery because she was having trouble with her eyesight. Sasha looked in good spirits in the video.

The surgery was successful and the post also included pictures after the surgery where Sasha can be seen in a new hair color. The hairstyle was different from the one she sports in WWE

This is the first time Sasha has been seen since her suspension from WWE. Sasha Banks and Naomi became the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at WrestleMania 38 but on the 16th May edition of RAW, Both wrestlers had a confrontation with Vince McMahon and walked out due to creative differences. The titles have since been vacated. 

Sasha Banks has stopped following some of the WWE Personnel and wrestlers on social media, on the other hand Naomi has removed her association WWE from social media, It is likely that these two won’t return to WWE again.
