REVEALED : Seth Freakin Rollins’ possible opponent for Summerslam
Seth Freakin Rollins has had multiple great Summerslam matches
Seth Freakin Rollins has been the one constant great part about WWE television lately is the peak performance of Former WWE and Universal Champion. Over the past 2 years, he’s given some of the best feuds in recent history with whom he’s crossed paths against then be it the unmatched Trilogies against WWE Hall of Famer Edge and ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes.
His character transition from being a forced babyface in 2019 to a beloved heel now was a huge sigh of relief for Seth Freakin Rollins’ fans worldwide. Since transforming into a complete mad psychopath, he’s not looked back and threw everything out of the park which came as a resistance on his path of revolution. Although he’s lost majority of the matches during the incredible feuds he’s given over the last 2 years or so, his character has only grown well and there’s no one stopping that for the Visionary.
After culminating his feud with Cody Rhodes recently , Seth Freakin Rollins made his way into the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match after defeating AJ Styles this past week on Raw. He’s also the current favourite to win the MITB contract according the betting odds.
Although Money in the Bank is only few days away, it seems like WWE has already started to pave ways for Seth Freakin Rollins’ Summerslam plans. Last night on Raw he viciously stomped Riddle after the latter lost his MITB qualifying match against Omos. Well, he didn’t took out Riddle without any reason in place for that as he’s reportedly set on a Collison course with him for this year’s biggest party of the summer.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer confirmed the same thing about Rollins potentially being set up to face Riddle at Summerslam this year.
“I didn’t think he was going to win, but, I didn’t think that it was going to be, tree slam and then another tree slam, and then Rollins would lay him out and obviously the idea is, with Cody out, that Rollins who is, you know, top heel on the brand, probably is going to be doing a program with Riddle, and there’s nothing wrong with that”.
Well by looking at this on paper Seth Rollins vs. Riddle could be an epic Summerslam match which would be remembered for atleast rest of the 2022 if not for the generations to come.
WWE is looking to stack up the Summerslam card as much as they can and booking major stars on the show in the best possible way would be the best way to do so. They’ve already announced the main-event for the show where Roman Reigns will make his Undisputed Universal Title defense against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match. Also, Pat McAfee has also been reportedly given a match to work for the show. You can read his plans by clicking here.

Seth Freakin Rollins could become Mr. Money in the Bank this year
With Money in the Bank premium-live-event less than 2 weeks away, the speculations for the potential MITB contract winners have already started to heat up.
Going by the betting odds, Seth Freakin Rollins is the current men’s favourite while Becky Lynch is the current women’s favourite to win their respective Money in the Bank ladder matches. Interestingly, Becky lost her qualifying match last night on Raw against Asuka which means she’s currently not a part of the show.
Honestly, there hasn’t been a great Money in the Bank contract holder other than Seth Freakin Rollins since 2015. Also his MITB cash-in at Wrestlemania 31 is considered as to be one of the greatest moments in entire WWE history which is famously being termed as the “Heist of the Century”.
The history could very well repeat itself if Rollins really manages to grab this year’s MITB briefcase which would gurantee him a Championship opportunity anytime and at any place. The dream fan scenarios have already started to surface up on the internet as many believe that Rollins could recreate that iconic “Heist of the Century”- ll at Summerslam this year by successfully cashing-in his contract during the Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar main-event match.
