The recent weeks for the fans of World Heavyweight Champion, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins have been tough. Despite the Visionary not competing at the Royal Rumble PLE, one cannot rule him out of being there. A recent video shows him backstage, enjoying the show.
As can be seen in the video, the 37-year-old can be seen in his usual colorful attire. He wares a unique shade as he can be seen munching popcorn as well as enjoying the show backstage. There’s a lot of commotion around him, yet he looks focused on the PPV’s action.
The Visionary was last seen in a heated battle against the Modern Day Maharaja, Jinder Mahal. Despite Mahal’s several tactics and intervention from the Indus Sher, the Visionary defied all the odds and once again retained his Title. However, the match left it’s mark as the Visionary got injured.
The Visionary also showed up on this week’s Monday Night Raw and to the delight of his fans, stated how he wouldn’t relinquish the title. With the likes of Drew McIntyre and the Best in the World, CM Punk, after him, it could only be a Visionary that remains so relaxed.
Possible direction for Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins after Royal Rumble 2024
Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins has been an admirer of the concept of the Royal Rumble. While The Visionary was present in attendance, he wasn’t in an active wrestling role. Meanwhile, unlike the contrasting speculations, The American Nightmare once again etched his name in history by consecutively winning the Rumble.
With The Best in the World was robbed of his direct ticket to headlining WrestleMania, a lot of unpredictability revolves around plans for The Visionary and him. However, fans can expect to see Rollins in the upcoming weeks, exchanging verbal jabs and personal attacks with potential challengers, that might include The Second City Saint.
Meanwhile, the timeline around the return of The Visionary remains unclear. He’s promised the fans how he’d defend his title at this year’s WrestleMania. With Cody Rhodes reclaiming another Royal Rumble to his name, it seems Rollins is safe from his arch-nemesis, being not a part of his story.
