The wrestling industry suffered the loss of Bray Wyatt earlier this year. His demise was a huge hit for his fans and family members. One of his co-workers, Seth Rollins, paid an iconic tribute to the late superstar during a live event. Recently, he spoke about his experience while paying the tribute.
In his appearance on Mythical Kitchen’s Last Meals, Seth Rollins recalled his cathartic experience while paying tribute to Bray Wyatt. He expressed that he felt Bray’s spirit was present with him there. The Visionary added that the feeling of Wyatt’s presence pushed him to perform what the 36-year-old used to do, including the Mandible Claw.
This feeling, this feeling of his spirit just there, it just grabbed me. I did way more than I expected to. I popped up in his spider thing, and I ended up in the corner upside down, I even did his mandible claw that he shoved down my throat all the time. It was a very cathartic experience for me, the beginning of the grieving process to let all of that out. I had that talk with the crowd afterward and then cried a lot as you would, and it was crazy. It still doesn’t entirely feel real to me.Seth Rollins on Bray Wyatt
Moreover, the Visionary expressed that there were no plans to do the upside-down and spider maneuver. It was a spontaneous decision, as he thought that was the right time.
Furthermore, Seth Rollins expressed his grief, saying that even now it’s still unbelievable for him to think Bray Wyatt is no longer a part of this world. The Eater of Worlds tragically passed away, which left the pro wrestling industry in shock. Moreover, the whole industry came together after his demise to pay respect to the legend.
