One of the greatest wrestlers of all time is Seth Rollins. He has worked his way up to become a megastar in the WWE and has won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, WWE Universal Championship, and the Ultimate Grand Slam multiple times.
At the most recent WWE Premium event Extreme Rules, Seth was defeated by the original bro Matt Riddle in a combat pit match. Even though no men’s titles were defended in this tournament, it was a success because fans loved the ending and the event as a whole was filled with excellent matches.
Seth Rollins’s dress-up was not only a troll but was respect
Seth Rollins made a very stylish entrance for his match, but his attire was unusual because it featured a dragon that was meant to represent something. He even imitated the legendary action of the former WWE Champion RVD, who was a very popular wrestler in his day and is still well-known for his work.
RVD was a mixed martial artist, and he demonstrated this by incorporating it into his popular wrestling techniques. As a result, he became a very popular wrestler and one of the select few superstars to successfully cash in their Money in the Bank Contract on company face John Cena.
Many fans were shocked by Seth Rollins’s tribute to the RVD during this pay-per-view because Seth is currently a heel and it was unclear whether this was a tribute or a taunt. However, it is now clear that he paid tribute to the legend through his actions, and even though he lost this important match against Matt Riddle, he did win the WWE Universe’s affection.
This was the first time a Fight Pit bout was featured on the main roster, and it was so excellent and full of moments that it was once again one of the top matchups. One of the highlights was when Matt Riddle leaped over the stage into Seth Rollins who was lying on the ground.
