“His energy level is off the charts”; When Seth Rollins was impressed by Pat McAfee
Colby Daniel Lopez who is now famously known as Seth Rollins is a former ROH World Champion who currently works for WWE. Seth Rollins made his professional wrestling debut in 2005 on Iowa independent circuit. Within two years of his debut as a professional wrestler Seth Rollins managed to capture NWA Midwest tag team championship teaming with Marek Brave and also won the PWG World Tag Team Championship with Jimmy Jacobs.
After a neck surgery Seth Rollins returned to wrestling challenging for the ROH World Championship. After a series of matches Seth Rollins defeated Austin Aires to win the ROH World Championship. Seth Rollins managed to hold on the title for 212 days before dropping it to Rodrick strong. Shortly after that Seth Rollins made his first WWE appearance under the developmental contract. He was later crowned as the inaugural NXT Champion when he defeated Jinder Mahal.

Seth Rollins made his main roster debut in 2012 alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose as the Shield. He along with Roman Reigns won the WWE Tag Team Championship defeating the team of Kane and Daniel Bryan in the process. Later in his career Seth Rollins decided to betray his shield brothers to form an alliance with triple h. Seth Rollins won the money in the bank ladder match and successfully cashed it in at wresltemania to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Since then Rollins has went on to become a Grand slam Champion.
Seth Rollins is considered as one of the best wrestlers in the world today and when asked about his plans after quitting wrestling by Richard Deitsch on the Sports Media podcast Rollins heaped praise on the Smackdown Live commentator Pat McAfee :
“I watch those guys do it and I’m friends with them…maybe in a Pat McAfee role. He is great. “The other guys take it so seriously, and God bless them, they are incredible at what they do, and Pat just shows up and flies by the seat of his pants, but his energy level is off the charts. If I can just wing it, that would be great. I don’t know what my future looks like after I’m done in the ring. I assume I’ll be part of the business in some form or fashion.”
“I’ve dedicated my whole life to it, essentially. It’s given me a great life and allowed me to provide for my family, start a wrestling school, invest in a coffee shop, which has given people jobs in my local area and create a cool little culture. I imagine I’ll stick with wrestling in some form or fashion. Broadcasting? I don’t know. Who is to say. If I can wing it every once in a while, why not?”
Seth is one of the few people in the company who has freedom on mike due to his excellent promo skills. Seth Rollins might end up as a commentator at the of his career but for he s putting up show with five star wrestling matches.
