“Greatest Prank of all time”; When Seth Rollins opened up on travelling around the world with the Money in the Bank briefcase
Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins has been one of the major parts of the current wrestling industry. The Architect has been on the top of his game since his debut and has been one of the most consistent performers that the industry has ever seen. Though Rollins has not had a lot of victories after his heel turn in 2019, the former Universal Champion has had some of the most memorable matches of his career lately.
Speaking of memorable matches, nobody can ever forget Seth Rollins’ Money in the Bank 2014 victory and how he had turned the tables around after he had abandoned Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose (a.k.a Jon Moxley). The former multiple time WWE champion had done it all when he had won the Money in the Bank ladder match and had proved to be the top star of WWE.
Rollins recently sat in an interview in WWE and revealed that though his career turned from down to the top after he had won the Money in the Bank contract, it was one of the most biggest pranks in the whole world as he had to carry it around the world which was a bit wierd to walk around with as not many knew what it was. Here’s what he said:
“The [money in the bank] briefcase might be the biggest prank that’s ever been pulled on me, having to carry it around the airport. I don’t mind bringing it to the shows; it’s the airports, because these regular human beings look at me in the airport like i’m some sort of alien walking through the airport with this banged-up, scratched-up briefcase that says ‘money in the bank, like, ‘what the hell is that?’ so yeah, the briefcase itself is the greatest prank of all.”
Seth Rollins cashing in the Money in the Bank contract is known as the Heist of the Century
Seth Rollins cashed in the Money in the Bank contract in the best ways possible and that’s the reason his cash in is called the Heist of the Century. The main event of WrestleMania 31 saw Roman Reigns challenging Brock Lesnar for the WWE championship which eventually was followed by Rollins coming out and cashing in his contract and winning the WWE championship.
