“Screw this guy, screw ESPN, screw WWE”- Seth Rollins discontented with Cody Rhodes winning the 2022 ESPY WWE moment of the year award

Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes drove us to the mesmerizing dream world through their flawless and an all-timer match this year at Wrestlemania. Who would’ve thought that the WWE Universe will be graced by the presence of a former AEW EVP at the biggest show of the year when 2022 started. But, this is exactly the most interesting part about pro-wrestling and you just can’t say no to anything in this business.

After somewhat leaving AEW due to some disagreements between the two parties, Cody and Brandi quickly became one of the hottest topics on the internet and everyone started speculating that The American Nightmare could be heading back to the place where he had dreams of becoming something really big and that was Vince McMahon’s WWE. Several insiders layed out tons of reports regarding Cody’s possible switch to WWE but no one could ever confirm 100% that whether he’s returning to the company or not especially after he left them on distasteful terms back in 2016.

Finally, the day came and it was April 2, Seth Rollins was set to face his “mystery opponent” who was set to be of Vince McMahon’s choosing. After some waiting and teasing lights went off and the stadium got black , then came the most unrealistic and unimaginable moment the fans could ever wished for from WWE in 2022 and that was Cody Rhodes’ WWE return who came out on Kingdom and his American Nightmare attire, exactly the same way he used to carry himself in AEW and this caused the AT&T stadium roof to take a sudden hit due to a crazy pop from the WWE Universe.

Cody Rhodes’ Wrestlemania return wins the award for this year’s ESPY WWE moment and Seth Rollins isn’t impressed by that

As a tradition, WWE picks a moment of their year which is considered the best with the help of fan voting and due to that there remains no room for biasing in case of right and deserving moment to get selected. There were multiple nominees being picked for the best moment of 2022 but only 4 of them made the final cut which included Cody Rhodes’ return, The Undertaker’s Hall of Fame speech, Big E’s WWE Championship victory and Stone Cold raising hell at Wrestlemania this year. It was announced last night that The American Nightmare’s WWE return is the ultimate winner for this year’s ESPY’s best WWE moment.

His fierce rival Seth Rollins doesn’t seems happy even a bit for his counterpart being awarded with such a honour (obviously staying at in character) and he tweeted out his dissatisfaction on the same tweeting out that everyone screwed him up and called out the fans as a “scumbag” who hate him as doesn’t appreciate his unmatchable workhorse stuff.
