“No that’s what I do. I’m not changing it; Road Dogg reveals Seth Rollins rejected one of his advises back in the day

Seth Rollins rejected Road Dogg's advice in the past
Seth Rollins is among the top stars in the entire wrestling industry today and he has single handedly changed the course of modern wrestling to a significant extent. Rollins has been consistently dishing out speculator performances throughout the years and he recently was a part of WWE’s first 5 star rated match since 2011 which he fought against Cody Rhodes last month inside of Hell in a Cell. Rollins debuted on NXT back on June 27th, 2012 where he also became the NXT Champion and held the title for 133 days.
Today, he’s proved to be one of the best ever NXT call-ups as The Visionary has become a Grand Slam Champion in WWE winning all the major titles there are up for grabs. Seth Rollins has a monumental achievement of beating Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania as well as at Summerslam in the same calendar year of 2019.
Initially when Rollins arrived on the scene in NXT, he used one of the manuevers namely the forearm strike in the corner which felt a bit “anticlimatic” according to WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg which he revealed during an Q&A session of AdFreeShows. He said,
“He used to do this thing in the corner where he would jump up and down, jump up and down and run like he was in a mosh pit, and then run and hit the guy with a forearm. And I thought, ‘Oh, man, that’s so anticlimactic. Like if you jump up and down and you’re really warming up, and then you run and hit the guy with a flipper”.
Roady felt like the move didn’t looked as aggressive as one would think upon delivering it as the lead-up to that was way more bigger than the actual manuever. He even revealed that Seth Rollins completely rejected his advice to make any changes to the aforementioned moveset. Here’s exactly what he went to say,
“I don’t know; it didn’t seem right; it seemed like the build-up was bigger than the finish-up,” opined Road Dogg. “So I went up to him and told him that, and he said, ‘No, that’s what I do. I’m not changing it; that’s what I do.’ I went to Hunter and said, ‘Well, that kid, I’ll never talk to him again.’ You know what I mean?”
Seth Rollins has a big matchup lined up for Summerslam this year
