Seth Rollins is one of the most decorated superstars in WWE. He is currently rocking the World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder, which he captured by defeating AJ Styles at Night of Champions. Despite having a big list of great matches behind him, The Visionary revealed that he doesn’t watch any of them.
While appearing on Last Meal by Mythical Kitchen via Ringside News, The Visionary made a shocking revelation as to why he never watches any of the matches. Seth Rollins said that it is the usual imperfections that occur during matches that drive him nuts. He said that even though he received positive feedback after his segments, he still couldn’t watch his matches.
You find things, little imperfections in every thing that you do. I’ll go have a match or a segment or a promo, and I’ll come back and everybody will have told me all of these great things about it, but I get to a point where I can’t watch my own matches backSeth Rollins on watching his matches
Adrenaline is something that influences one’s experiences a lot. As Seth delivers his best inside the ring, the ovations and the audience singing his song give him an adrenaline rush. Speaking about the same, Seth Rollins revealed that he becomes a bit detached from his earlier matches once all is said and done.
The Visionary is all set to compete at WWE Crown Jewel against Drew McIntyre. Fans will likely get to witness a spectacular match between the two. While the prospect of his back issues scares fans, it seems Rollins will surmount the odds to deliver yet another stellar performance at Crown Jewel.
Seth Rollins is reportedly in a win-win situation
After Roman Reigns unified the Universal Championship and the WWE Championship, the fans were seriously upset. Ever since WrestleMania 38, Roman started following a part-timer’s schedule. It felt as if the shows were lacking the main titles which prompted Triple H to create the World Heavyweight Championship.
As a result, The Visionary became the World Heavyweight Champion at Night of Champions. Since then, he has won several marquee matches, defending his title regularly and proving himself a workhorse champion. With fans happy, the management also began to reflect on the ratings.
It seems that Seth Rollins is in a win-win situation. According to sources, WWE Management is happy with Seth Rollins’ reign as Champion due to the good numbers he pulls and the number of tickets he’s sold. According to data from Wrestletix, WWE has reportedly recorded 1.8 million live audiences since Seth’s crowning as the champion.
While the figures seem less than those of the Attitude Era, their impact surely doesn’t lie. It seems that even the wrestling community acknowledges Rollins’ efforts. As per Pro Wrestling Illustrated Report, he is the No. 1 wrestler in September 2023.
