The World Heavyweight Champion, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, will be returning to in-ring action in a few weeks. Even after suffering a MCL tear, Rollins did not give up and made his presence known on every possible Raw. He even made it to Elimination Chamber: Perth to be the guest on the ‘Grayson Waller Effect’ talk show. During his interview in Australia, Rollins came down to CM Punk‘s topic and told him to work harder!
Wrestle Radio Australia caught up with The Visionary to ask about his nearly confirmed plans with Punk. Rollins stated that he does not want to be the person who has made the following statements: But other people, including him, will be stating the fact that The Best in the World has a “fragile mind, a fragile body, and a fragile ego.” This line was indeed from Jon Moxley‘s promo on Punk in AEW during their rivalry in the buildup to All Out 2022.
The Visionary recalled that this line came from a person he knew but did not reveal who it was, which still feels true to him. The 37-year-old then mentioned, even in his promo, that Punk should actually work to get a shot at his World Heavyweight Championship. The only change that The Second City Saint should bring is to work even harder now and overcome his injury to get in the face of Rollins.
I mean, I don't want to say I told you so. But me and a lot of other people told you so. What's the line? Fragile mind. Fragile body. Fragile ego. I think somebody that I know said something like that about him and it rings true.Seth Rollins about CM Punk
As of now, the scenario sees Chicago Made star out of in-ring action due to his tricep injury. He will not be hitting the rings for the first half of this year, considering the medical clearance. However, it is undeniable that upon his return, Punk would first go against Drew McIntyre to avenge his cruel attack. Only time will tell whether The Straight-Edged Superstar encounters McIntyre for a championship or not.
Seth Rollins enjoys being multifaceted in WWE compared to his wrestling-based ROH days
Seth “Freakin” Rollins started out as a professional wrestler back in 2004 but was known widely due to his ROH stint. He was the ROH World Champion with the ring name Tyler Black and was one of the best talents on that roster. It was his agility and aerial nature that made him a huge name in the business.
In the aforementioned interview, Rollins was asked about the major differences between ROH and WWE. It was pretty simple to understand the variations. Seth still claimed that ROH had a more sports-based approach. They also have an action-based audience that craves that physicality.
It's just a special thing to be a WWE Superstar, multifaceted you have to be to do it. And it's what I fell in love withSeth Rollins on his WWE experience compared to ROH
However, WWE is much bigger of a platform and is more than what just happens inside the squared circle. It feels special to be a WWE superstar, and he cited the role of things like Press Event that matter. Rollins concluded by saying that he fell in love with how multifaceted he can be in WWE.
