The legacy of the McMahon family could witness a new addition. Recently, Shane McMahon‘s son, Declan McMahon, talked about his willingness to join his family’s business due to his similarity with Vince McMahon. He made some bold statements regarding his potential future with WWE.
During his interview with Developmentally Speaking, Declan McMahon faced the question of who among his family could join the company next. Declan proudly named himself as the next person to carry on his grandfather’s legacy, as he shares the same attitude and ego. He believes that there is already a family background that serves the story.
“Probably me. I mean the story’s already written, right? The rightful heir, the good-looking, the one who looks like Vince, right. So I think in the sense that you could play off the WrestleMania 20, like I posted on Twitter. You could play that off and just show that the new generation McMahon. has arrived. So I think in that sense, I would. But we have such a great family, and we’re all so supportive of each other."Declan McMahon on joining WWE
Furthermore, Declan believes that he is the rightful successor to the legacy of the McMahons. He praised his family for being supportive of each other. In addition, he named Triple H’s daughter Aurora, who might join the company next, as he revealed she talks about getting into the company.
Declan McMahon was at the Fastlane Premium Live Event in October. He is currently a part of the Indiana football team. It is going to be interesting to see if Declan makes it into the WWE in the future. There is a huge possibility for Shane McMahon‘s son to work for the company due to Vince McMahon’s regular praise.
Declan McMahon provides an injury update on Shane McMahon
Shane McMahon was injured this year at WrestleMania while he was showing off his running skills. Before getting involved in a marquee matchup, Shane twisted his ankle and made his way backstage. Ever since his injury, Shane ha not appeared on WWE TV. However, his son, Declan McMahon, provided an injury update on his father.
While speaking with Developmentally Speaking, Declan revealed that Shane McMahon is making a phenomenal recovery. He went on to say that his father works out regularly and does jogging as well.
"His rehab’s going very, very well. He’s gotten back to jogging. He's squatting. He’s starting to work out again. [...] He’s making phenomenal progress. The doctor said all the time that he’s healing quicker than they thought and, you know, when he tore it, he completely tore his quad tendon. Furthermore, Declan expressed that it’s been a hard time for his father. He revealed that Shane completely tore his tendon at WrestleMania 39. Moreover, he also provided insight that Shane would be back sooner rather than later on WWE television.
