R-Truth is one of the funniest superstars in WWE history. He has never failed to make the WWE Universe laugh with his “confused” gimmick and goofy antics. Nobody is safe from him, not even the Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative, Shawn Michaels. Recently, they engaged in a hilarious segment that is gaining fans’ attention and laughter. 

In a video posted online, the 52-year-old veteran met The Heartbreak Kid backstage. However, Truth mistook him for current Raw superstar Johnny Gargano and started giving him advice. He encouraged ‘Gargano’ by saying that he sees a lot of Shawn Michaels in him, which didn’t make sense because he was, in fact, talking to Michaels. Truth mistakenly sees the pair of #DIY as D-Generation-X, where Gargano is Michaels and Tommaso Ciampa is Triple H.

The funny thing about the whole segment was Michaels’ reaction, as he closed the door in complete confusion. Truth has been one of the most prominent superstars, both in terms of in-ring work and the entertainment factor. Fans couldn’t stop laughing when he entered the Women’s Royal Rumble out of confusion and reached Austria instead of Australia for the Elimination Chamber PLE.

He has been going through a bit of a rough patch right now with his relationship with The Judgment Day. Truth has sided with The Miz and #DIY since the notorious faction attacked him a few weeks ago. It is speculated that Truth will soon jump out of his obsession with Judgment Day and challenge them for the Tag Team Titles with Miz at WrestleMania. Only time will tell what transpires in the upcoming weeks.

WWE veteran R-Truth is not only one of the most likable superstars in the WWE Universe, but he is well-respected by his fellow co-workers as well. They have a great deal of respect for what he has contributed to this business and will continue to do so. One of those superstars is Natalya, who still vividly remembers when she met Truth for the first time.

Nattie gave an interview with Joe Vulpis, where she talked about her early days in her wrestling career and how she met Truth. She recalled the time when she joined the independent wrestling promotion called the ‘Buffelo Brawl’ and was struggling to get bookings. That’s where she met Truth for the first time. He took her under his wing and helped her in every way possible. 

Independent wrestling promotions don't have the kind of money to fly you out of Canada and fly you to their promotion in the United States. It was very hard for me to get independent work. But I did end up getting a show called Buffalo Brawl and that's when I met R-Truth for the very first time he was so nice to me and I felt like from that time he took me under his wings and was like 'I got your back'.

Natalya stated that Truth is still one of the nicest people on the roster and hasn’t changed at all. Although he hasn’t headlined many PLEs and won a lot of championships, one thing is for sure: he will always be remembered by fans as a legend.
