Ever since Triple H has become the head of creative, many Superstars have gotten the push they deserve in the WWE, including Shayna Baszler. Shayna Baszler will fight for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship against Liv Morgan at the Clash at the Castle Live event. Shayna won the Gauntlet Match held on an edition of SmackDown in August. She defeated Raquel Rodrigues to seal her spot in the match against Liv Morgan. This is after a long time that Shayna Baszler has got an opportunity to get her hands on a WWE Women’s Championship.
This past week Liv Morgan had a training session under Matt Riddle ahead of her match at the clash at the Castle, Matt being a Former MMA fighter and Shayna Baszler too being a Former MMA fighter, Riddle seemed the perfect guy to train Morgan. In a recent interview, Shayna Baszler has indicated that she wants to torture Liv Morgan at the Clash at the Castle Live event. The 42-year-old looks all set and ready to capture the WWE SmackDown Women’s title and seems a very tough competitor for Morgan. In a recent interview with Bleav in Pro Wrestling Podcast, Baszler had stated about the lack of opportunities she goy when she debuted on the main roster.
Shayna Baszler remarked that everyone hopes of making it big in this profession, winning the title and having their moment, but she hasn’t had any opportunities since 2020. Shayna stated that she was thinking about her present phase in the organization when the gauntlet match came up, and that’s when she realized there had been a change in her WWE career.
“Obviously the dream for anybody that gets into this business is like win the title on a big show and have your moment. It just so happens, you know, I don’t even think it’s as far back as 2020, but real recently there’s been this kind of like, I don’t know… what am I doing right now? You know? And then that gauntlet match came about and it was like, okay, let’s go. And it was like the perfect time of like, this change is about, right? Change is in the air”

Shayna Baszler speaks about the reason she didn’t break Liv Morgan’s limb
In an interview with the New York Post, Shayna Baszler has stated that she needs Liv Morgan to be medically fit when she faces her in the Cardiff at the Clash at the Castle. She compared breaking people’s limbs to removing a leg from a turkey at Thanksgiving and said she enjoys it. Baszler stated that it would be so lovely if she walked away with the championship while also breaking Morgan’s Limb at the Clash at the Castle. She stated that she has ensured that she requires Morgan in Cardiff and hence has not entirely ruined her arm.
