Sheamus and Edge competed in a grueling match this week on SmackDown, where the latter emerged victorious. It was truly a monumental night for both superstars as they faced each other for the first time in a match. The Celtic Warrior broke his silence and reacted for the first time after losing to the Hall of Famer on SmackDown.

The former World Champion took to X to address the WWE Universe. He posted images of him and Edge having beer together after the match. Sheamus wrote, “A Canadian & an Irishman had a brawl that would make a banshee bawl.” Both superstars can be seen having fun after their matchup on SmackDown.

The Rated-R superstar and the Celtic Warrior are good friends in real life. In fact, it was revealed by Edge that Sheamus was the one who motivated him to return to in-ring action in 2020. In the closing sequence of SmackDown, both superstars hugged each other and showed a spirit of sportsmanship.

Dustin took to X to share a picture of him and Edge along with several WWE superstars like Kane and Bully Ray. Rhodes wished him good luck ahead of his final contracted match on SmackDown. The AEW Superstar also wrote that he always misses him and wishes him to be safe.
