Sheamus has been a part of the WWE for well over a decade, and he recently revealed some insight into how much longer he will be in the ring. Sheamus was asked about how it felt to perform in front of a live audience after being unable to do so due to COVID-19 in an interview with “The Five Count Radio Show” out of Mantako, MN.

He said, “It’s hard, but we made it work, but sometimes it’s hard when you’re in there with just a bunch of video screens around you, you know what I mean? You gotta bring intensity on your own, but like I said, again with this job, with my career in WWE, it’s been insane. Who would have thought that I’d be wrestling in front of no people for a year and a half?

When asked about how long he would continue his fighting career, Sheamus further said, “I’m still having fun, mate, I’m still enjoying what I do, I still love being out in front of a live crowd and knocking the shite out of my opponents, but yeah, I’m having fun. As long as I’m having fun, as long as I’m having fun doing what you want to do, mate, you want to go as long as you possibly can.”

Sheamus is approaching a “lucky” number anniversary at the end of the month. According to his projected timetable for how much longer he has left in the ring, “The Celtic Warrior” has plenty more to accomplish. Sheamus and his “SmackDown” teammates will perform at the Target Center in Minneapolis on Friday.

Sheamus recently fought in a Money In The Bank qualifying match against Drew McIntyre on the most recent “SmackDown,” but the bout ended in a no-contest. Sheamus had Butch from the Brawling Brutes on his side, but he was missing Ridge Holland, who was rehabbing from a knee injury at home.
