Sheamus and Edge
The Brawling Brutes, Sheamus, Ridge Holland, and Butch are on a high note after winning the six-man tag match at the Extreme Rules Premium Live event against The Imperium, Gunther, Giovanni Vinci, and Ludwig Kaiser. The Celtic Warrior has set his sights on the Intercontinental Championship and has even fought for it twice against Gunther, but he has failed to win it.
The IC Championship scene is very well set and fans are enjoying the rivalry between the two men and their stables. Sheamus has been wanting to win the IC title since a long time and has even expressed his desire to cash the MITB contract on the IC Champion, if he wins the contract.
Sheamus is currently enjoying his time in the Brawling Brutes, and during an appearance on The Ringer show after the Extreme Rules PLE, he credited his stable mates for reigniting his passion for pro wrestling and making it back to level 10. He stated that there is no level of authority in the group and that all three of them will die for each other out there.
Sheamus says Butch lives and breathes wrestling
Sheamus praised Butch in the same interview and compared him to Edge. Sheamus thought back to his fatal four-way bout with Randy Orton, Edge, and John Cena and remembered Cena saying that Edge has a brilliant mind. Sheamus said that he doesn’t mean to belittle Edge, but Butch has a brilliant business mind as well. He said that Butch lives and breathes wrestling, and it shows when he is in the ring.
“When I came up here, I remember we had a 4-Way; it was me, Cena, Randy, and Edge. I just remember John going, ‘Edge’s got a great mind. Don’t worry about that. Edge is like a great mind.’ Well, I’ll tell you what, man, no disrespect to Edge, but this fella right here, Butch has an incredible mind for the business that I’ve never ever come across before. He eats, sleeps, and breathes what we do, and it shows when he’s in that ring.”
In another tweet, Sheamus called Gunther a “Dishonorable Cheat” and hinted that he won’t stop until he wins the Intercontinental Championship. The Celtic Warrior has accomplished almost everything in the WWE except the Intercontinental Championship and we are sure that the Celtic warrior will become a grand slam champion.
