Sheamus is one of the most decorated WWE superstars of this generation. From winning championships to headlining premium live events, he has done it all in his career. The Celtic Warrior has been an active part of the roster for more than a decade. He is currently occupying a spot on an elite list in WWE.

A recent post on Twitter revealed statistics detailing the list of WWE superstars with the most matches ever. According to the list, Sheamus is shown to have wrestled 1423 matches in his career, ranking seventh on it. Just below him is the 16-time World Champion, John Cena, whose tally is 1412.

Sheamus did not miss out on the chance to troll his longtime rival, John Cena. He retweeted the post with a quirky response saying, “Seeya Cena” with a waving emoji as well. This was a joke in reference to the franchise player’s “You Can’t See Me” catchphrase. There have been many memes and comedic videos shared online using the same slogan. In a reply to his tweet, the Irish wrestler further wrote, “1423 bangers and counting.”

After making his debut in 2009, it took Sheamus only two months to reach the top of the mountain. At the Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view, the rookie defeated John Cena in a “Tables Match” to become WWE Champion. Since then, he has gone on to win multiple championships, solidifying his position in the company as one of the most reliable stars.

WWE’s biggest event of the summer, SummerSlam, is on the horizon. As several feuds are set to blow out at the show, there is seemingly no place on the card for the former World Champion, Sheamus. With seven matches already confirmed, the company has probably locked in the lineup for the event.

With him not being on the card, many fans are left disappointed. The former World Champion wrestled this year at WrestleMania in one of the best matches of his career. Therefore, the WWE Universe believes that WWE should have featured him at SummerSlam in any capacity.

Sheamus has been involved in the United States title picture and in a rivalry with Pretty Deadly. The Celtic Warrior has previously expressed his disappointment with the way the Brawling Brutes have been treated. There are currently no concrete reports on his future on the main roster.
