Sheamus expresses his remorse for not being on the Money in the Bank card, says “I should be there”

For some reason, WWE has not booked Sheamus for next month's Money in the Bank premium-live-event in London. Openly perplexed from his exclusion, the Celtic Warrior recently expressed himself.

For the first time in WWE history, Money in the Bank emanates from the United Kingdom this year. The card is shaping up to be quite the one. However, Sheamus doesn’t seem too thrilled about it just yet. Well, that’s pretty natural for someone who’s not booked for the show. Even though that is bound to happen with anyone considering the depth WWE has in their rosters.

However, the thoughts of not wrestling on his home-turf haunts Sheamus the most. While speaking to The Metro, the 45-year-old expressed his disappointment for not being able to make the card in London. He cited his match from Clash at the Castle against Gunther as the one which tore the house down. Deservingly so, that slobberknocker received a 5-star rating from Dave Meltzer too.

Also, the Celtic Warrior described his past year in WWE where he’s produced weekly bangers on free television. Summing things up, the Irishman argued that they (WWE) should think of him at the foremost level whenever an event is held in Europe. During the entire conversation, the former World Champion stated nothing but facts. However, as of writing, he’s not scheduled for a match at the O2 arena in London next month.

“I mean, selfishly I should. If it’s with Ridge too, that’d be great. But listen, last time we were in Wales [for Clash At The Castle in September], I tore the bleeding roof off the place. Nobody came close! Every time I get out there, I put on a banger. I should be the first person they’re thinking of – especially when a pay-per-view comes to Europe like that. So yeah, a hundred percent, I should be in there”, said Sheamus when asked about his Money in the Bank plans.

Even though Sheamus isn’t booked for Money in the Bank, he still has something to cheer for at the event. His Brawling Brutes stablemate – Butch, qualified for the ladder match last week, defeating Baron Corbin. And now, the Bruiserweight is set to unleash his joint manipulations over his competitors in front of his home crowd at London.

The former Pete Dunne is likely to receive a massive fan support at the event. Even after such favorable conditions, he’s not the odds-on favorite to grab that contract. Nevertheless, it’s going to he a massive showing for the rabid Englishman. Although July 1st might not be the night for Butch, his future isn’t in the doomsday.

Boozer 666, a private WWE Insider on Twitter, has churned out an exciting news. According to them, WWE are making plans to repackage Butch and eventually revert him back to his previous version – Pete Dunne. His followers from NXT UK would be well-versed with the calamitous activities Dunne is highly capable of.
