“False Advertising”; Sheamus points out a deformity in WWE announcing a major Tag-Team match for Extreme Rules

Things between the Intercontinental Champion Gunther and Sheamus are far from being over. After delivering a rigorous match at Clash at the Castle, both men will now put each other’s resilience to the test once again next week on Smackdown. We’re about to substantiate the next chapter in their rivalry on the seasonn premiere of the blue brand in Worcester 8 days from now.

The Brawling Brutes (Butch and Ridge Holland) ineffectively challenged The Usos for those Undisputed Tag-Team titles last week on Smackdown thanks to a distraction from The Imperium towards the conclusion of that classic bout. Kaiser and Vinci blindsided Sheamus who was at the ringside area trying to rally his boys and later ran into a massive boot to the face by Gunther.

Sheamus craves to be the Intercontinental Champion heading into Extreme Rules

WWE announced a 6 man Tag-Team match between The Imperium and The Brawling Brutes injecting a Donnybrook Fight stipulation for Extreme Rules. Over the last 1 month, these teams have cultivated tremendous chemistry and the fans have also been taking gratification in their ventures.

Well, the official graphic for this match was something that didn’t sit well with the Fella as it was depicting Gunther as the Intercontinental Champion. Sheamus insisted on the fact that he’s taking off that prestigious title from Gunther next week and will be heading into Extreme Rules as the Intercontinental Champion.

With that win, Sheamus will become the Grand Slam Champion in WWE and he’s rightfully deserving so. The Fella has been doing some of the best work of his career as of late and the natural pairing with Ridge and Butch is taking putting everyone else on notice.
