“That’s what you deserve”- Sheamus warns Bobby Lashley following his brutal knee kick to him on this week’s RAW

Bobby Lashley and Sheamus in WWE
Bobby Lashley has been having a great time in WWE as of now. He is in his third reign as the United States Champion. Lashley defeated Theory at the MITB Live event to win the US title. Bobby Lashley has always been dominant in the ring and has proved himself by being a 2-time WWE Champion. He recently stated that he wants to achieve more in the WWE and also eyes to win the Royal Rumble one day. Bobby Lashley was one of the top stars during the Pandemic and made sure to entertain the WWE Universe during the Pandemic.
Lashley won the WWE United Championship for the first time in May 2005, when he defeated John Bradshaw Layfield on an edition of SmackDown. Lashley’s first reign lasted for 49 days before he was defeated by Finlay in July 2005. Bobby’s second reign as a US Champion came in August 2020, when he defeated Apollo Crews at the Payback 2020 event. He held the title for 175 days and then lost it to Riddle at 2021 Elimination Chamber.
Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre faced Sheamus and Theory in a Tag match on this week’s RAW
This week on RAW, Theory faced Drew McIntyre in a singles battle, which McIntyre dominated, but as he was about to win, Sheamus and the brawling brutes intervened and all of them began bashing Drew, just then Bobby Lashley rushed to McIntyre’s aid. Lashley and McIntyre outperformed them, and the bout was re-started as a Tag Team match.
Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley triumphed over Sheamus and Theory. During the bout, Sheamus hit Bobby Lashley in the face with his knee at ringside. The impact looked terrible, and Sheamus said, “That’s what you deserve.” The WWE uploaded the clip on its social media account, and the galactic warrior quickly responded. “That’s what you deserve,” he added.
Bobby Lashley and Sheamus have never faced each other at a Live Event but they both have faced each other on March 22 2021 edition of RAW, where “The Almighty” had defeated Sheamus by submission. Thereafter they were involved in a heated exchange backstage in August 2021. The reply by Sheamus seems to be some kind of warning to The Almighty.
Soon after Theory’s loss at the MITB, he invoked his rematch claws and now The Almighty is scheduled to defend his title against Theory at SummerSlam in a singles match. SummerSlam will take place on this Saturday at Nissan Stadium Nashville, Tennessee.
