Mercedes Mone aka Sasha Banks is one of the hottest superstars in the world right now. She is the talk of the town regarding her contract situation. However, now the reports suggest the talks have stopped between the superstar and the company.

Fightful Select reports that WWE is planning a return of ‘former WWE Champion’ at the Day 1 edition of Raw next week. This made fans excited about the surprise and many fans believed that the 31-year-old would finally be joining WWE. However, Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful Select replied to a fan’s tweet saying that the talks stopped between Sasha and WWE.

Sasha walked out from the company in 2022 as a Tag Team Champion with Naomi after a dispute with the creatives. According to Fightful Select, Mercedes Mone is demanding higher pay than Charlotte Flair. Banks has said on her Instagram Live that she will come back to wrestling, be it in any company.

Now that reports suggest that her talks stopped with WWE, fans are concerned that she might not return to the company. It will be interesting to see when and how this saga ends. Whether WWE accepts her demand for higher payment or not, only time will tell.

Vince Russo believes Sasha Banks will eventually end up in AEW

As reports are surfacing online that Sasha Banks won’t join WWE, there are higher chances of her joining the rival company, AEW. If she joins AEW, it will be a huge victory for the company from the business point of view, as she is one of the biggest superstars right now. Vince Russo can see this happening in the future.

While speaking on the Wrestling Outlaws podcast, Russo said that The Boss will join AEW and she will even receive a higher amount than Charlotte Flair is making in WWE.

All she's doing is using that as a bargaining chip for AEW, and I promise you, bro, at the end of the day, she'll get more from AEW than Charlotte got from WWE.
