Shotzi gave some serious nightmares to Bayley on SmackDown

Shotzi has finally made her most anticipated return on SmackDown with her brand new look. She appeared on The Grayson Waller Effect out of nowhere and confronted Bayley and Iyo Sky. The Damage CTRL members had a rough outing this week. At first, Waller inquired about Sky’s Money in the Bank cash-in plans. As she was about to speak, Bayley cut her off on the fly and became the mouthpiece. Apparently, Sky wasn’t thrilled by the act.

Then, while Bayley was trashtalking, Shotzi’s theme song got played, leaving the former frightened. However, in the meantime, Grayson Waller was laughing and informed The Role Model that it was his idea to execute the prank. Bayley further warned him to never repeat the same thing. But the next time it happened, Bayley thought Waller was schooling her again, but he wasn’t.

Shotzi’s TCB tank was there on the entrance ramp. Being terrified, Bayley asked Iyo Sky to have her back. That left her alone in the ring. And in a plot twist, Shotzi was actually standing right behind The Damage CTRL leader. The latter appeared to have seen a ghost and tried to attack Shotzi.

The 31-year-old, rocking her new short-hair look, took out Bayley. Then she brought out a trimmer from her pocket. However, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion escaped the ring just by the skin of her teeth. The one enacting Shotzi on the stage, turned out to be Zelina Vega.

She had a match against Iyo Sky. As stated above, depicting Damage CTRL’s dismal outing, Sky lost the match. She got distracted by the outside shenanigans of Bayley and Shotzi. As a result, Vega took advantage and pinned Sky.

Is WWE planning a Hair vs. Hair match between Shotzi and Bayley?

History suggests that WWE loves to put their women in Hair vs. Hair matches. While the fans have witnessed some iconic flashes of those in the past, they could see it unfold again. Judging by the current storyline between Bayley and Shotzi, the creative seems adamant on butchering The Role Model’s strands too. Fans are certainly enjoying this unique women’s feud on the blue brand.

At the moment, there’s no word if WWE would eventually book a Hair vs. Hair stipulation for their inevitable contest. However, the story has been captivating thus far and continues to intrigue the audience. As far as fans keep wondering the next step in their rivalry, WWE would probably plan something interesting.

The company loves to stretch the stories which gets caught by their fans. Till now, WWE has done a fantastic job at booking this feud on a weekly basis. Nothing is stagnant at this point, which in itself remains the bright spot. If executed to perfection, Bayley and Shotzi could headline a future edition of SmackDown, or else they might slug it out at Payback in Pittsburgh.
