Legado del Fantasma to debut on SmackDown Tomorrow Night: Sources

Legado Del Fantasma NXT SmackDown debut
Legado Del Fantasma is regarded as the real flag bearers of Mexican cruiserweight division and are all set to make their SmackDown debut.

But, it seems like Triple H can’t get enough of utilising the younger stars and is all set to bring another popular faction to the Blue Brand sooner than expected.

Last month a report had emerged that popular NXT faction Legado del Fantasma could be moving to the main roster soon. But, there were no concrete updates to this, now PWInsider is reporting that the faction is all set to make their debut on SmackDown this Friday Night.

Well, PWInsider is a trustworthy source when it comes to spoilers and it seems they’ve got a big break for all the Wrestling fans out there. The faction with the likes of Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, and Elektra Lopez will now be featured on the blue brand.

WrestleOps tweeted citing the report of PWI and wrote- ” PWInsider: The current plan is for Legado Del Fantasma to debut for the #SmackDown brand as soon as tomorrow night’s season premier. LFG!”

About a month ago in a NXT episode we saw Santos Escobar driving off with the other members of the group in a vehicle. At that time Wrestling Observer Radio had observed that this meant that the faction was being written off NXT and were on to their main roster debut.

It now seems that the rumours were right and the faction is now indeed coming to SmackDown. After the tweet, fans were quick to react to the spoiler as some felt that The SmackDown roster is already stacked with teams and thus LDF should’ve been debuting at RAW.

Another theory that the fans presented was that the LDF should’ve teamed up with Rey Mysterio to assist him in taking on The Judgement Day. While the overall reaction to the news looked positive as the fans said they found another reason to watch SmackDown. Now, it needs to be seen what plans do The Creative Head has for them or they’ll be put in an already stacked programming.
