Public brawls and street fights aren’t uncommon around the world. People have been getting involved in random scrimmages in public places for centuries. However, sometimes even the most abrupt altercations end up overlapping with the art of wrestling. Wrestling, especially WWE, has always been known for its enormous influence on people. In one such instance, an intense tag-team-style brawl erupted on a sidewalk.
A user named Cr*zy Clips recently posted a video of a full-fledged roadside brawl on X. The shared video had a couple of young men causing an affray in a public place. The supposed melee more or less resembled the tornado-style tag-team match, catching the attention of netizens.
The 27-second video clip had a plethora of men present in the scene. However, four men in particular stole the limelight from everyone. One guy wearing a matching gray hoodie and pants aggressively charged at another guy in a black hoodie. The former was so forceful in his offense that he accidentally fell on the ground, leading to his pants embarrassingly slipping out of his waist.
The roadside brawl outlandishly seemed similar to the tag team tornado matches in WWE. In this chaotic style of match, all the tag team members are allowed to be in the ring simultaneously. These matches involve no tagging. As a result, the only way to score a win is by pinfall or submission. Moreover, the viral video is proof of WWE’s ground-level influence on the general public.
Social media went bonkers upon witnessing a massive tag team-style roadside brawl
The aforementioned video of the disorderly sidewalk scuffle went viral all over the internet. The posted video garnered a staggering 14 million views and over 109k likes. In addition, the viral clip also attracted a myriad of reactions from netizens, who took a special interest in this street fight. Check out some of the wild reactions.
The widely circulated video generated nearly 2k comments. In the ocean of replies, one user said that the black hoodie guy knocked the pants off of the guy in the gray hoodie. Another user remarked that the guy clad in a white T-shirt, who was also the grey hoodie one’s friend, seemed embarrassed to lose the fight.
One of the netizens hilariously drew parallels between a brawl and an anime scene, where the guy who throws the first punch ends up getting embarrassed. A few other fans felt bad for the gray hoodie guy, saying he would’ve won the fight had his pants stayed intact. A user went as far as comparing the uninhibited altercation to street boxing.
