Sonya Deville also possess a former MMA background.

Sonya Deville is one of the most charismatic and influential talents on the entire WWE roster today. She comes from a former Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) background and always brings something different on the table with her. That’s the reason why she has been given an on-screen authority figure role in WWE where she portrays herself as a ‘villainous management figure’.

Sonya Deville has been an important on-screen figure in WWE recently.

Well, that’s where the difference arrives in professional wrestling. The superstars on television have to play their characters with full realism and conviction. One thing that these ever stopping workhorses avoid is to break their characters on-screen, but when you’re not on TV you don’t have that dead compulsion to follow the written set of rules.

Sonya Deville appeared on this week’s Pat McAfee Show as a guest where she talked about numerous things about her career, including her thoughts about how she feels about her current run in WWE, feeling grateful towards that, she reflected upon her recent in-ring return apart from that “Suit role”.

She said “It’s been a crazy ride and finally getting back into the ring was a real full-circle moment”.

Sonya Deville could possibly become a Women’s Champion in WWE someday

Sonya Deville
Sonya Deville has it absolutely all what it takes to be a Champion in WWE.

Although winning championships is not everything in pro-wrestling but they’re certainly needed by a fellow superstar to further boost up his/her confidence levels. It also reflects the amount of trust the management have upon yourself on whether you could represent the company for which you work with in front of the audience. Sonya Deville has not won any major titles in WWE yet far but presumably she’s on a course to be next in line for that role.

Apparently, WWE has trust upon her to let herself do her thing every week on television. Talking about the various traits she brings with herself in the ring, she can wrestle fluently with some roots of her former MMA background and no one should ever doubt on the trash talking she can do with a microphone in her hands.

Combining all of this, there’s not a single valid reason left as to why she should be a future Women’s champion in WWE. We can only hope that time comes around soon enough.
