WrestleMania season is here and WWE is looking forward to making the 40th edition the grandest of them all. One of the main attractions for the biggest event in WWE is the appearances of the legendary wrestlers. Fans are always excited to see their entertaining backstage segment or even in-ring segments.
Like every year, WWE is planning to do the same for WrestleMania 40, and as per reports, there are some huge names lined up. According to PWInsider, Michelle McCool, and legendary manager Jimmy Hart will be making an appearance at the Show of Shows.
Moreover, three Hall of Famers and legends of this business Ron Simmons, JBL, and Kane will also be appearing at WrestleMania. Fans have enjoyed some of the most iconic segments involving Simmons yelling ‘Damn’ during the APA poker games.
Fans have especially shown their excitement for the legendary Kane. The ‘Mayor’ Glenn Jacobs was once one of the most fearsome monsters fans ever witnessed. His last appearance was two years ago when he attended the Hall of Fame ceremony for The Undertaker.
A runthrough of all the confirmed matches for WrestleMania 40 till now
As WrestleMania 40 gets closer, several high-profile matches are gradually shaping up. This will be the first WrestleMania WWE merged under Endeavor. As of now, there are a total of 10 matches confirmed for the two-night extravaganza.
The Marquee Championship matches include the WWE Undisputed World Heavyweight title bout between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. Followed by three world championship matches involving champions Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, and Iyo Sky.
Not only that, the midcard championships are also on the line, as Gunther will defend his Intercontinental title against Sami Zayn. As for the United States Championship, Logan Paul will defend his title in a Triple Threat match against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.
Some feuds don’t need titles, as LA Knight and AJ Styles will look to destroy each other in a blood feud. The WrestleMania tradition of some ‘brotherly love’ will be well alive, as Jey Uso will battle Jimmy Uso in a grudge match. The tag team titles are also going to be defended in a six-pack ladder match.
Last, but certainly not least, Reigns and The Rock will battle Rollins and Rhodes in a tag team match. If the duo of Rhodes and Rollins wins, the world title match between him and Reigns will be Bloodline-free. However, if they lose, the match will become Bloodline Rules, where anything goes.
