Stephanie McMahon, WWE’s Chief Brand Officer, recently praised SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks, calling her a “star” in an interview. McMahon would reveal in an interview how Banks was the “ideal candidate” to make the WrestleMania announcement, as The Boss joined Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and John Cena in a parody news package dubbed the WrestleMania Report. She had said, “Sasha is a star, and she was a perfect choice to make that announcement.”
Sasha Banks has been in the spotlight recently after she and her tag-team partner Naomi allegedly walked out of a WWE event on Monday Night RAW last month. The WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championship has been vacated since then, and it’s unclear whether the duo will return.

They walked away, alleging creative differences with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon because they were unsatisfied with a match planned for their championship defense. While there have been various rumors about their WWE situation since then, the latest sources imply that Sasha may have been released by the company.
Sasha, on the other hand, has spoken out for the first time about the reports of her release. She shared a story on her Instagram account, writing, “See now, this is why I keep off Twitter… “I’m just making something up every week for no reason.” Despite the fact that she has not fully explained the matter, it is widely assumed that, while some of the details in the rumors may be accurate, she will not be leaving WWE anytime soon.
