When the world speaks of WWE Legends, The Undertaker is always on the top of the list. He has spent a majority of his life living for the company. His character is massively liked by the WWE Universe. The 57 year old has also made his way upto the WWE Hall Of Fame.
His ‘Deadman’ gimmick had a massive impact on the company’s ratings. People from all across the globe were impressed with the character played by him. WWE Superstar Stone Cold Steve Austin also agreed on the same and acknowledged the fact that no one else in the industry could have played the character better than him.
Steve Cold Steve Austin is a great professional wrestler himself. Regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers in the industry, he is a record 3 three time Royal Rumble winner. He was also inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009 for his dedication to the company.
Steve Austin is now retired from the ring. He cannot leave the industry and thus runs his podcast and is in touch with multiple superstars. He hosts ‘The Steve Austin Show’ and the ‘Broken Skull Sessions’ and interestingly both of them are running great. In an interview with Bill Apter, he spoke about multiple WWE Superstars.

Stone Cold Steve Austin acknowledges The Undertaker
Talking about The Undertaker, he said that if the WWE creative had given The Undertaker’s gimmick to someone else, it wouldn’t have lasted for this long. Had anyone else played it, it would just last for 2 years. He also said that no one else would have been able to carry it the way The Undertaker does it.
The Undertaker has adopted the gimmick for the rest of his WWE tenure. He signed a 15 year contract with WWE in 2019. “It was a once in a lifetime thing where they caught lightning in a bottle. I knew Mark was going to be a star when we stunk out the Sportatorium,” said Steve Austin.
Steve Austin acknowledged the fact that the Undertaker was an amazing talent. He also praised him for making micro adjustments to his character and also for maintaining his fan base of his character. The Undertaker is currently in the ‘1 deadMAN SHOW’ where he talks to WWE Universe about his career.
