REVEALED: Stone Cold Steve Austin hints about his next WWE appearance

Stone Cold Steve Austin in the ring

WWE held the most stupendous two nights of Wrestlemania this year in Dallas, Texas. The Homeboy, Stone Cold Steve Austin was featured on both the nights and both his segments proved to be the highlight of the respective nights. Austin made an appearance on the KO Show on the first night, which set up a match with Kevin Owens, his first wrestling match since WrestleMania 19 in 2003 when he retired from wrestling after a loss to The Rock.

He squared off against Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match and was successful in winning the match. On night two of WrestleMania, Austin showed up to hit Stunners on Austin Theory, Pat McAfee, and the Boss Vince McMahon just like old times. The main idea behind these segments was to get Stone Cold Steve Austin a proper retirement farewell, which he couldn’t get back in 2003.

Stone Cold Steve Austin says he feels 100% and might be at Wrestlemania 39

Stone Cold Steve Austin discussed his comeback to the ring during an appearance on the Brewbound Podcast. He stated he’s feeling 100 per cent again and that he’s looking forward to getting back into the industry. Austin was asked if he would be in attendance at WrestleMania 39 in Inglewood, California next year. Austin claimed he’d believe someone was insane if they told him he’d be headlining night one of WrestleMania 38, so he can’t say. He did say that he didn’t book WrestleMania 38 himself, but that it was Vince McMahon’s decision.

“I would really imagine that within the scope of that show, that’s gonna be a big show in a big-time city and it’ll be a two-night event again so, I’m not, I’m sure I’m done wrestling per se, but as a part of WWE, I can’t imagine I would not be there in some capacity and I’m not booking myself on the show because I didn’t book myself on 38. That’s a Vince thing and I have a great relationship with him and if I get the call, I’ll be there.”

Apparently, the highlight and the biggest tease for Wrestlemania 39 is the Rock to return and face his Samoan cousin Roman Reigns. WWE has teased the match a couple of times this past week with one being at WWE Evil and the other being at Young Rock.
