“I managed The Undertaker” Former WWE General Manager reveals his anger with not getting an invitation to Undertaker’s party
The Undertaker
The Undertaker is quite likely the greatest character that has ever been portrayed in the WWE and the entire wrestling business. Even better than being a fantastic wrestler, The Undertaker is a great character who has performed for WWE for many years.
The Undertaker still maintains the record for the most victories at WrestleMania and once went unbeaten there. He has managed to win the World Championship on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, Undertaker took the difficult decision to retire last year, which saddened everyone.
The Undertaker Hall of Fame induction and Teddy Long
After retiring, The Undertaker was promptly inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and a sizable celebration was even held in his honor. Teddy Long reportedly admitted that he still regrets not having received an invitation to the party.
When Teddy was recently asked about it, he said right away that he was never invited to the party and that, as the famed wrestler’s first manager, he feels terrible about it and believes he should have at least received an invitation.
It would have been up to him whether he went there or not, but at the very least, he ought to have been questioned about it. Teddy is a great general manager who has handled Smackdown and Raw in the past. At one point, he even thought that only a wrestler with talent or accomplishments could compete against The Undertaker.
Following this, everyone honestly believes that Teddy should have been invited, but from the Undertaker’s perspective, we are unsure of the details of who created the guest list and why Teddy, a longtime celebrity, was not even considered for an invitation.
Former WWE General manager said, “I managed Undertaker before he was ever Undertaker, He was Mean Mark Callous. I’m just saying to you as I said, didn’t bother me. I don’t care. Because I know this business and I know that there are people that didn’t want me there, and know who those people are. So, I’m just saying to you, how do you miss that?”
