Teddy Long is one of the prominent names on the list of WWE Hall of Famers. He served as General Manager, giving some of the most remarkable moments in this industry. Fans have always loved his character on WWE television. During a recent interview, Teddy Long commented about WWE superstar Ronda Rousey. Long said that he’s skeptical about Rousey being a worthy investment in WWE.

Ronda Rousey has always been one of the most notable names in the world of wrestling. Ever since stepping foot in WWE, Rousey has always been in the main event scene. Throughout her tenure in the company, The Rowdy One has been a part of some high-caliber feuds and storylines. However, WWE Hall of Famer, Teddy Long, feels The Rowdy One has failed to create an impact in the company.

While speaking on WrestleBinge by Sportskeeda, Teddy Long praised Ronda Rousey and said that “she’s a real nice person.” However, the WWE HOF felt that when it comes to pro wrestling, the former UFC star surely lacks interest and zeal. “She just doesn’t show she has an interest in professional wrestling,” he said. Long added that he is skeptical about Ronda Rousey ever having any steam in WWE.

WWE’s merger with UFC has opened endless possibilities between the two wrestling giants. Speaking about it, Teddy Long believes that the former MMA star can take a detour and explore newfangled ideas. Long said Rousey can probably have an inter-gender match with Brock Lesnar. Besides, the WWE veteran feels this could be a good idea for The Baddest Women on the Planet.

“With the merger with UFC now…that’s money right there! And I think she would probably feel better doing that because she’s in her own playground,” Tedy Long said. The WWE Hall of Famer believes that it could reinvigorate Ronda Rousey’s pro wrestling career.
