After trailblazing the business and establishing his company as the best wrestling promotion in the whole world, Vince McMahon finally decided to announce his walk-on from WWE in all sorts on July 22nd.The entire wrestling universe was taken aback by the shocking announcement and there was a lot of rush going around in Connecticut.
Recently, member of The Brawling Brutes Butch (formerly as Pete Dunne) was interviewed by Stephanie Chase where he talked out the backstage atmosphere on the Smackdown tapings that day saying that although everyone caught by shock when they came to hear about Vince retiring but he didn’t found anything to become a mess around there and everyone was well-organised with their jobs.
“To be honest, up till now, it all feels strangely normal. Even the day when we were at SmackDown and we got notified that Vince had retired, obviously there’s that second of people looking around like, ‘Did you see that? Can you believe this has happened?’ But then after that, everyone’s so focused on the job that’s at hand it kind of feels strangely normal but exciting at the same time,”.
