WWE Hall of Famer meets cricket team captains ahead of the commencement of 2023 ODI World Cup

The ICC 2023 ODI World Cup kicked off this Thursday, October 5. The opening ceremony of the spectacular tournament had some of the most prominent names. This year, India will host the World Cup across its various cities. One of the names from the pro wrestling industry who graced his presence during the meet-and-greet event was WWE Hall of Famer, The Great Khali.
The Great Khali attended the commencement ceremony of the tournament as a special guest. He met with the captains of all the cricket teams participating in the tournament, including notable figures like Rohit Sharma, Shakib-Al-Hassan, David Miller, and Jos Buttler, wishing them good luck and posing for pictures.
The ICC 2023 ODI World Cup kicked off with a match between New Zealand and England. The event, held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in India, saw Khali having fun with the cricket teams and their captains. He also clicked some pictures with the iconic tournament trophy as well.

The Great Khali made an interesting appearance at the commencement match for the ODI World Cup 2023. Not only did the WWE superstar make an appearance, but he also had some fun while promoting the tournament. The International Cricket Council (ICC) shared a video of the superstar performing fun activities at the event.
In the video, The Great Khali chanted the name of his favorite team while supporting it. Moreover, he looked vibrant, enjoying the match in the crowd like a young fan as he raised the flag of his country. Furthermore, the former World Champion also played cricket on the field.
The Great Khali is heavily involved in the marketing program for the ODI Cricket World Cup. Khali has revealed several times in his interviews that he is a huge cricket fan. It is going to be interesting to see the outcome of the biggest cricket tournament of all time.
