“He was instrumental in teaching me how to become a main-eventer” The Miz opens up on how Randy Orton has helped him thoughout his career

The Miz and Randy Orton are two of the best heels of all times.

The ‘A-lister’ aka The Miz recently joined in the trend of speaking out some words of wisdom for the 14-time World Champion, Randy Orton as part of the Orton week which is currently being celebrated by WWE to honour the clinic work he’s done for over 20 years.

I’m sure you’ll might have a memory of that “Angry Miz Girl” in your heads till date.

For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, let me take you back to the memory lane one more time.

The Miz won the 2010 Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Later that year, on the November 10 edition of WWE Raw, Randy Orton defended his WWE Championship against Wade Barrett.

Orton successfully retained his title in a hardly fought contest but after the match, The Miz came running out with his Money in the Bank contract and announced his cash-in on the already exhausted Randy Orton.

As soon as the bell rang, Miz started working on the previously injured leg on Randy Orton and the ending of the match came when Orton was about to deliver an RKO to the Miz bit he countered the move and transformed it into a Skull Crushing Finale to pin Orton and become the new WWE Champion.

Fans were seen expressing their anger on the outcome of the match and then the camera focused into a ‘young’ little girl who seemed to be the most angry human being present in that entire arena over the Miz’s championship win. Her expressions quickly made the rounds and went viral and soon after that she became popular as the ‘Angry Miz Girl’.

Nearly 12 years after that WWE Championship win, The Miz has become a true veteran in WWE. He’s also considered as the best Intercontinental Champion of the mordern era. Speaking on the success he’s achieved in WWE, Miz stated that Randy Orton played an important role to help transform himself into a main-event status player. Miz recently tweeted out the following :-

@randyorton Was instrumental in teaching me how to become a main eventer. You learn by watching matches back, but it’s a whole different education when you’re actually in the ring with one of the absolute best and learning from them… #OrtonWeek

The Miz is one of best heels in WWE right now :-
