The Panda Express debut set for next week's Raw

A lot has been happening on WWE television ever since Triple H took over creative. We are now getting the first ever match of The Panda Express next week against The Alpha Academy. To those who’re unaware of what this Panda Express is all about, let’s cut down straight to the chase.

Back in 2014, both Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano were about to debut themselves as a Tag-Team on the independent circuits making it as the biggest talk of the town back then. Ultimately, Owens received a WWE call-up and likewise Gargano also made his NXT debut thus far nixing up everything.

Their alliance was termed as The Panda Express and collectively Owens and Gargano’s team was called as “The Greatest Tag-Team that never was”. It all now seems like a full circle thing as both men are now going to team up nearly 8 years after their emergence.

In addition, Damian Priest of The Judgement Day alongside Finn Balor, Dominic Mysterio and Rhea Ripley will go one on one against Matt Riddle next week. We saw how Riddle and Mysterio received their Judgement Day on last night’s show.

Why The Panda Express is a special thing to happen?

Last night on Raw, Kevin Owens went one on one with Mr. Money in the Bank Austin Theory. The young heel superstar seemed desperate when he attacked Owens even before the bell even rang.

Johnny Gargano also showed up during the match and was seen teasing with the Money in the Bank contract distracting Theory which allowed Kevin Owens to execute a pop-up powerbomb over the former to pick a massive victory.

Owens and Gargano then encountered The Alpha Academy backstage where they were met with some ridiculous claims about Theory’s loss moments ago. Gable then threw a challenge for a Tag-Team match at The Panda Express next week and they accepted. Kevin was fired up to receive the challenge as Raw rolls through his homecountry of Canada next week.

Before wrapping up the things, The Panda Express (Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano) is a special stuff to happen in WWE as they were about to be the next big things on the independent circuits but never actually got underway.

Had Vince McMahon been there in WWE currently, you would’ve never got to see Gargano and Owens in a single frame ever, but Triple H knows what the fans want and hence he’s doing his job perfectly.
